2009-2010 Leadership Unlimited

Graduates Recognized

   Nineteen area leaders were recognized at a graduation ceremony that was held on June 17 in the Kobacker Room at Ed Pickens Café on Main.  Founded in 1982, Leadership Unlimited is a planned learning program designed to provide men and women of demonstrated leadership ability with the opportunity to interact with existing leaders and develop their knowledge of challenges and opportunities for leadership in the greater Mansfield-Richland County area.

   The Leadership Unlimited Program, which runs from September to June, begins with a Friday/Saturday orientation retreat, followed by ten monthly workday sessions relating to topics in the community.  These sessions cover such areas as: Government, Education, Courts and Public Safety, Human and Health Services, Culture and Recreation, Business, Industry, Labor and Economics.

   The 2009-2010 Leadership Unlimited graduates are:  Steven A. Claiborne, 179th Airlift Wing; Mariann Craig, CenturyLink; Steve Cummins, Mansfield Assemblies; Jonathan Hill, Mechanics Savings Bank; Dena Kirby, Pioneer Career and Technology Center; Tony Newman, First Merit Bank; Shari Petersen, Ohio State University - Mansfield; Randy Pore, Village of Lexington; Bev Rosich, Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging; Doug Rothhaar, Therm-O-Disc; Becky Smith, Richland County Foundation; Amanda South, Richland Newhope     Industries; Erin Stucky, Visiting Nurse Association of Mid-Ohio; Jean Taddie, North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC); Scott Them, Sutton Bank; Rebecca Toomey, Richland Bank; Deborah Veley, Mansfield Memorial Homes; Lynn Voyik, Shelby Foundation; and Aaron Wiegand, G P Wiegand Construction.
